Follow The Experts

If you’re serious about excelling 📈 at Social Media, then you should be regularly consuming content from at least 10 large accounts in your industry 🏭.

🧐 Analyze how their entire account (their bio, photos, videos, carousels) are all primarily about the same main Call(s) To Action.

📝 Take notes on how all of their posts present a Hook 🪝, a Unique Selling Proposition 📋, and a Call To Action 📲 in a similar format(s) each time.

.

🏋️♂️ EXERCISE: List and create 10 post ideas, (Videos, Still Photos, and Carousels) each imitating a different accounts’ style.

If you mimic them EXACTLY, then you will be forced to mold your message to their styles, which will improve your own conciseness, delivery and aesthetic – and give you new ideas.

Use Analytics Tools

A list of 🆕 (and new-ish) social features that have been added or expanded upon 👇

▪️ Instagram: More 3D posts & AR filters. Rollout of Collaborative Stories on it’s way.

▪️ Facebook: Expanded functionality of Stories Glasses. Customers can opt-in for product notifications in Messenger.

▪️ X: Rolling out Premium, and Premium+ tiers, which include features such as bigger video uploads and X’s chatbot GrokAI.

▪️ LinkedIn: Creator Mode is gone, and the tools will be available to all. Custom buttons are also available for Premium users.

▪️ TikTok: Rolling out ‘Creator Search Insights’ to better understand what users are searching.

▪️ YouTube: ‘Shorts’ aren’t new (they’ve exploded the past 2 years), but so many businesses still don’t make them

Engage With Your Audience

(Contribution 4 of 5)

5 ways to interact 🫱🏼🫲🏾 with customers on social media (other than replying to comments) ⬇️

📊 Use “Poll” posts to ask your customers what their favorite products and features are.

✍️ Use “Fill In The Blank” posts to get their exact answers to certain questions / topics.

🎥 Go LIVE and verbally answer questions in the chat, and ask clarifying questions too, making your followers feel more connected than ever before.

💬 Tell people to comment a certain word on your posts in order to receive a DM (with a link) for more information or exclusive access to an offer.

This not only increases the engagement of your posts (and ensures that the user gets the link), but it also establishes a personal DM chat with each user.

What Else To Consider

(Contribution 5 of 5)

TEXT:

Here’s two big ⛰️⛰️ considerations when creating social media content ⬇️

📆 Your monthly content calendar should have a mix of days and times to post ‘Pro-Active Content’ (planned content)… … and days/times to research, create and post ‘Re-Active Content’ (that’s reacting to current events or trends).

🏛️ Use these 4 Pillars to structure your videos and carousel posts:

1️⃣ Hook (First 3 seconds / First slide): Short phrase or sentence saying specifically what the insight is you’re sharing.

2️⃣ Pivot: Transition to talking about your business’s expertise on this topic.

3️⃣ Selling Proposition: Specifically state how your business can help others with this topic

4️⃣ Call To Action: (Ex. “Follow us” or “Click link” to learn more)
